The strike action launched by the doctors from the North Central Province has been called off.

The Media Spokesperson representing the Government Medical Officers Association Dr. Naveen De Zoysa stated that the strike was called off subsequent to the Provincial Secretariat having promised to address their issues.

The strike was launched at around 8 a.m Monday protesting against the indisciplined conduct of a Public Health Inspector which was not officially dealt with by the relevant authorities.
