One person was injured following the collision of four vehicles in the Welikada area along Parliament Road.The police said that initially a van collided with a motorcycle, following which another van and motorcycle had collided.

Our correspondents reported heavy traffic in the area on Thursday evening,  following the accident.The motorcycle rider was injured and subsequently hospitalised following the accident. The police reported that the victim is a deliveryman for a private food chain.
