The National Tourist Drivers Association submitted a letter to the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission on Saturday expressing their opposition against the human rights allegations levelled at Sri Lanka.
Members of the association arrived in a motorcade to present their letter to the Human Rights Commission.
Western Provincial Council Candidate Attorney-at-Law Susara Dinal also took part in the motor rally which commenced from Katunayake.
Susara Dinal shared the following views:
“It has been several years since the end of the war. As the government we have been able to bring about systematic development while taking steps to achieve reconciliation. Some nations are using this as an opportunity to win the electoral votes of minorities who have migrated to their countries. As Sri Lankans we should all unite and say that this should stop. Let us solve our own problems ..”
