Colombo District Candidate of the Democratic Party, Susil Kindelpitiya took part in a public rally in the Maligawatte area on Saturday.

During the rally, Kindelpitiya shared the following views:

“This government has failed to bring down milk powder for your children. However, they are capable of bringing down over 260 kilogrammes of drugs. Who imports containers of ethanol?  We challenge them to reveal who imports them. It is being done by parliamentarians and ministers. They distribute it among our elders. When they drink it they don’t ask for jobs or homes. They don’t ask for an education for their children. They stay silent as it they have been anesthetised. The government gains massively by importing ethanol ..”

Meanwhile, Kindelpitiya also took part in a door-to-door campaign in the Maligawatte area to raise public awareness.
