South Africa were crowned the winners of the 2014 ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup when they beat Pakistan in the final encounter on Saturday. Batting first, Pakistan were restricted to a dissapointing 131 runs all out.
Amad Butt top scored from Pakistan with 37 runs not out.
Corbin Bosch bagged four wickets for the Proteas Under 19 team.
Chasing a target of 132 runs for victory South Africa got off to a shaky start however a half century by skipper Aiden Markaram ensured that South Africa went onto win the Under-19 World Cup.
