Today is the final day of the Deyata Kirula Exhibition.
The closing ceremony was held under the auspicious of Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne.
The exhibition spans across 162 acres including the grounds of the North Western University, Technical College and the Kuliyapitiya Central College. Organisers state that as of Saturday afternoon close to 300,000 persons have visited to exhibition.
The exhibition will take place till midnight Saturday.
Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne and Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa attended the closing ceremony of the exhibition on Saturday.
The next Deyata Kirula Exhibition will be held in the Southern Province, said Prime Minister.
