TULF General Secretary V. Anandasangaree notes that the upcoming Human Rights Council Session in Geneva is an important occasion and that this opportunity should be used in the proper manner.
The letter requests the TNA to ensure that inexperienced persons are not dispatched for this important occasion. Sangaree also notes in his letter, that the TNA failed to properly utilise previous opportunities such as the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and the SAARC summit.
In such a backdrop, the General Secretary of the TULF reiterates that the TNA should make use of the UN Human Rights Council Session in March this year.
