Police states that they are continuing excavations at the location where a human skull was discovered in an abandoned land along  Lakshapathiya Road in Moratuwa.

The Police Media Unit said that the human skull discovered was sent to the Judicial Medical Officer at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for further examination.

The Moratuwa Magistrate had conducted examinations on location into the discovery of the human skull on Monday evening.
