Anuradhapura doctor banned over photography in ladies’ washroom

The Ministry of Health has taken steps to prevent the doctor that was found recording obscene pictures inside a washroom in the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital from practicing in both private and government hospitals in the island.

Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr Nihal Jayathilake said that he had informed the National Medical Council to not to register as a doctor at the councils.

The police arrested the doctor in question recently for recording obscene pictures.

The individual was continuing working at the Anuradhaphura teaching hospital, while awaiting his appointment subsequent to the completion of his internship at the hospital.

He has been alleged for recording through a secretive camera that he had fixed inside a ladies washroom at the hospital.
