India increases funds allocated to Sri Lanka

The Indian Central Government has increased the funds allocated to Sri Lanka through the External Affairs Ministry of India.

PTI news agency has reported that Indian Rs. 500 crore has been allocated for Sri Lanka for this year.

In last year India budgeted Indian Rs 410 crore for Sri Lanka.

Bhutan – Rs 5,050 crore
Afghanistan – Rs 600 crore
Sri Lanka –  Rs 500 crore
Nepal – Rs 450 crore
Bangladesh – Rs 350 crore
Myanmar – Rs 330 crore
African countries – Rs 350 crore
