Three turtles and eleven kilogrammes of turtle meat have been discovered in the Rosa-Paduwa island in Kalpitiya.

Police said that three suspects, who are residents of Rosa Paduwa and Kalpitiya , have been arrested in connection to the incident.

The suspects have been released after being fined Rs. 120,000.
