The train strike launched by the Locomotive Engineers Association has been called off with train services resuming.

The Locomotive Engineers Association commenced a strike action on Wednesday afternoon citing several demands.

Chairman of the Locomotive Engineers Association, I.L.K. Dissanayake said earlier today that they would continue with the strike action until the General Manager of Railways intervenes to resolve their issues.
