The wildlife officers have captured a crocodile which had been lying along the Kataragama – Hambantota road, in the Mayurapura area in Hambantota.
Our correspondent stated, that the residents in that area had informed the wildlife officers that the crocodile had been there since 8 p.m. Monday.
The wildlife officers who arrived at the location had taken measures to take the crocodile away from the area. This crocodile is said to be about 10 feet long.
Thereafter the wildlife officers made arrangements to release the crocodile in to the Bundala National park.
