Captain, Misbah-ul-Haq scored 135 runs. Shaminda Eranga and Rangana Herath took three wickets each.

Batting first, Sri Lanka posed a first innings score of 204 runs. Pakistan led by 179 runs with zero wickets remaining in the 1st innings.
