Several Lankans in Uganda scheduled to return

Three of  thirteen Sri Lankans who are in Uganda due to the clashes in South Sudan are scheduled to return to the country today.

Jagath De Silva,  the Sri Lankan who worked as the general manager of the hotel the Sri Lankans were attached to said that the three of his fellow employees received air tickets to return to Sri Lanka on Tuesday. He added that  the air tickets were received by a  representative of their company’s chairman.

Accordingly,  the  three Sri Lankans have left Uganda on Monday to rerun to the country. Meanwhile Deputy General Manager of Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau Mangala Randeniya said that  they have received information that two other Sri Lankans who were in South Sudan have arrived in Uganda. The Deputy General Manager added that all measures are being  taken to bring the remaining Sri Lankans back to the country.
