The budget of the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha which is under the UPFA rule was defeated for the second time on Monday. According to Newsfirst Correspondent, Sanjeewa Rohan, the budget was defeated by a majority of two votes.

Ten votes were cast in favor of the budget while twelve votes were cast against it. Our correspondent said that one member of the Pradeshiya Sabha had refrained from casting his vote.
