An issue has cropped up in obtaining airline tickets in order to facilitate Sri Lankan expatriates who have gone to Uganda due to the conflict in South Sudan, to return to Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankans there say that even though the institutions that provide tickets agreed to do so before, they are now denying such an agreement.
They are requesting the Sri Lankan government to help them solve this issue. Thirteen Sri Lankan expatriates are temporarily in Uganda. They say that the money provided to them by their institutions will be sufficient only for two days in Uganda.
