The Criminal Investigations Department has arrested Three suspects in connection to the murder of Daniel Rexigan, the Chairman of the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha.

According to Police Media Spokesperson, SSP Ajith Rohana the opposition leader of the Northern Provincial Council as well as Daniel Rexigan‘s wife are among the arrested suspects.

The Criminal Investigations Department took over investigations into the death of Daniel Rexigan after the postmortem examination revealed that the chairman was shot dead.

The chairman of the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha was found dead at his residence on November 26.
