Four milk powder companies have requested the Consumer Affairs Authority permission to increase the price of their products.

Director General of the Consumer Affairs Authority J.M.A. Douglas said that the Price Control Commission is due to convene and discuss this request.

The Director General said that a decision would be taken after considering the rise in milk powder in the world market.
