Measures have been taken to recruit former police personnel to inspect bus tickets in CTB buses.Vice Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board, L.A. Wimalarathne stated that twenty officials will be recruited in the initial stages.

He said training for these officers will commence from today. Furthermore, ticket inspectors who are employed at the CTB will be given special training as well. He added that the former police officers were appointed by retired SSP Ranjith Kasthurirathne
