Corey ‘Thunder’ Law of the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team broke the world record with a shot of 33.45 metres.
The record was broken at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona in celebration of the ninth Guinness World Record Day on November 14.
Law clearly broke the previous record for longest successful basketball shot, which was set at 31.8 meters nearly three years ago.
Speaking of his achievement, Law said it was “an honor” to represent his team and break a world record at the same time.
