British Prime Minister David Cameron landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake on Thursday ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting scheduled to begin later today.
 
The British premier was welcomed by a delegation including Senior Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Sports Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Social Services Felix Perera and Chief Minister of the Western Province Prasanna Ranatunga.
 
Meanwhile, Ruwandan President Paul Kagame also arrived in the country on Thursday to attend CHOGM 2013.
 
President Kagama was warmly welcomed by a delegation of parliamentarians including Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka.
