Paliamentarians, Dr. Harsha de Silva, Ruwan Wijeywardena and Ajith Perera arrived at Police Headquarters on Monday morning to lodge a complaint.
UNP Parliamentarian Dr. Harsha de Silva
“Australian national James Packer arrived in Sri Lanka today to make the preliminary preparations for a conspiracy to establish illegal casinos. Three or four days ago the police raided an illegal casino in Town Hall and arrested forty three people. This is not such a casino. This foreigner has arrived here to establish a large scale illegal casino. We asked the police today that the appropriate legal action be taken. None of the casinos in Sri Lanka are legal. We requested the police to take legal action against all these illegal casinos. This is the copy of the complaint that we lodged.”
