Opposition Blames Authorites Over Easter Probe, Govt Claims Unbiased Investigation

COLOMBO (News 1st): National People’s Power Member of Parliament Chandana Suriarachchi has stressed that investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks are being conducted in a highly transparent manner within the legal framework, and emphasized that no interference should be allowed to disrupt the process.

Samagi Jana Balawegaya Member of Parliament Rohana Bandara has alleged that the current government is using the Easter Sunday attacks to fulfill its political objectives.

Meanwhile, at a media briefing convened by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, its General Secretary, Attorney-at-Law Sagara Kariyawasam, stated that Shani Abeysekara and Ravi Seneviratne are responsible for the Easter Sunday attacks.
