Kalpitiya Police Officers Transferred Over Misconduct Complaints

COLOMBO (News 1st): All police officers who were on duty at the Kalpitiya Police Station, except for the Officer-in-Charge (OIC), have been transferred with immediate effect.

These transfers were made after considering complaints received regarding the failure to perform duties properly and occurrences of fraud and corruption.

Under the orders of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the concerned officers have been transferred to other police stations within the Puttalam Division.
