Sri Lankan Fatally Stabbed in Israel

COLOMBO (News 1st); A Sri Lankan national has been fatally attacked with a sharp weapon in Israel.

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, confirmed that the victim was a 38-year-old resident of Galle, a father of two children.

The victim had arrived in Israel last September and was employed in the construction sector.

The killing had occurred following an altercation with another individual.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident, however, their identity has not yet been disclosed.
