Committee appointed to look into SLTB season ticket fee revision

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A committee has been appointed to look into the revision of SLTB season ticket fees.

The Ministry of Transport says that the relevant committee has convened twice so far and looked into the matter.

However, no final decision has been reached in this regard so far.

Meanwhile, the Ceylon Transport Board says they will issue season tickets to school students until the 14th of June.

The Department of Railways also says that school students can get season tickets until the 16th of June.

Due to the recommencement of schools on the 12th of June, the period for issuing season tickets has been extended.
