Final vote on budget 2023 today (8)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The final vote on the 2023 appropriation bill of the 2023 Budget will take place on Thursday (8) evening in Parliament.

Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization & National Policies Ranil Wickremesinghe delivered the opening speech of the Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill to Parliament on November 14th.

The debate on the Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill commenced on November 15th as and the vote on the Second Reading took place on November 22nd.

The debate on the Committee Stage of the Appropriation Bill commenced on November 23rd and the vote will be held on December 8th.
