Sixty-one MPs appointed as regional development committee heads

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Several MPs belonging to various districts have been appointed as regional development committee Chairmen.

The appointment letters for this purpose were handed over by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at the Prime Minister's office at Parliament premises recently.

Accordingly, Prime Minister  Gunawardena has given appointment letters to 61 MPs of Gampaha, Kalutara, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Matara, Hambantota, Digamadulla, Trincomalee, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Badulla, Monaragala, Ratnapura and Kegalle Districts.
