COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka's Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Deputy Administrator of USAID Isobel Coleman.
Both sides discussed enhanced assistance to Sri Lanka through collaborative projects in a follow-up to the visit by Administrator Samantha Power.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power announced $ 60 million in assistance to Sri Lanka during her two-day visit recently.
Power said $ 20 million would go to addressing hunger and malnutrition in the country while the $ 40 million assured previously would support Sri Lanka’s farmers.
