Siyambalapitiya appointed Acting Finance Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st) - MP Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has been appointed the Acting Minister of Finance.
The MP has been appointed to this position due to the departure of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is also the Minister of Finance, to attend the funeral of late Queen Elizabeth II.
MP Siyambalapitiya, who entered the Parliament representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna national list, is currently also the State Minister of Finance.
