Foreign national arrested at BIA with gold biscuits

COLOMBO (News 1st); A foreign national who attempted to illegally smuggle 3 gold biscuits to the USA has been taken into custody by customs at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

Customs personnel stated that the value of the gold biscuits is Rs.6,750,000/-.

The gold biscuits were carefully hidden in a suitcase in his possession and were taken into custody by customs.
