NO LIOC distribution to filling stations today (9)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Lanka IOC said that in view of the planned protest, LIOC has been advised to discontinue supply operations to filling stations with immediate effect for today.
However, Lanka IOC will continue its supplies from Trincomalee to CPC & to industries uninterruptedly.
The Managing Director of Lanka IOC Manoj Gupta said Lanka IOC will continue its supplies from Trincomalee to CPC & to industries uninterruptedly.
He said, supply would resume on the 10th of July, a Sunday.
When News 1st inquired from Manoj Gupta on Friday (8) as to who gave Lanka IOC the directives to stop issuing fuel due to protests, he did not respond.
The Managing Director of Lanka IOC said look at it positively.
