COLOMBO (News 1st); The distribution of energy in Sri Lanka falling to the hands of foreign countries is a threat to national security, points out SJB MP M. Velukumar.

MP Velukumar, making this statement, went onto question whether or not the authorities prioritize national security, especially after obtaining the peoples mandate to uphold the same.

“So where is the President? Where is Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the leader who came to uphold national security?” he questioned.

Speaking further, MP Velukumar requested for the President to not to sell national entities and not to put the country down further.

He pointed out that people continue to request the President to resign, and the only solution for the current crisis too is for the President to resign and to make the Government resign along with him.
