COLOMBO (News 1st); The Central bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) noted that steps have been taken to prevent USD overshooting.

Regulatory actions will be taken against speculation and manipulation, said the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The public are advised NOT to be misled by baseless claims, warned CBSL.
