40,000 MT Diesel to reach Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) noted that another vessel carrying 40,000 MT of diesel will arrive in the country on Saturday (14).

The Chairman of the CPC Sumith Wijesinghe said the shipment will reach Sri Lanka under the Indian Credit Line.

Meanwhile, the All Ceylon Filling Station Owners' Association said that the supply of fuel to filling stations has been reduced.

The Chairman of the All Ceylon Filling Station Owners' Association S. Fernando said that as a result, long queues are witnessed at filling stations across the island.
