CPC to commence random fuel quality checks

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Energy, Kanchana Wijesekara says that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has commenced random checks of fuel quality in all fuel stations islandwide.

Citing complaints over fuel quality and fuel mixed with water, kerosene and other liquids, the Minister said that licenses of such fuel stations violating guidelines will be immediately cancelled.
