7,200 MT of gas to reach Sri Lanka this week

COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro Gas said that another two vessels carrying 7,200 MT of gas are scheduled to arrive in the country within this week.

The Chairman of the Liro, Vijitha Herath said a vessel carrying 3,600 MT is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday (26), and the shipment will be distributed to the market from Wednesday (27).

He said that a vessel carrying 3,600 MT of gas is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday (27) as well.

Litro said that it is losing around Rs. 250 Mn daily due to the low price of gas cylinders being released to the market.
