COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Meteorology announced that showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western province and Galle & Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva provinces, and in the Hambanthota district during the evening or night.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
