Long queues at filling stations for Diesel

COLOMBO (News 1st); Due to the lack of fuel in the country people are suffering every day while spending hours and days at filling stations.

Transport services have also been disrupted and on Tuesday (29) the Ministry of Energy warned the public NOT to queue up at filling stations on Wednesday (30) and Thursday (31).

However, News 1st Correspondents across the country pointed out that there are several long queues across the country to obtain Diesel, and people are waiting in queues for hours, they said.
