Family Health Officers on Strike

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Government Family Health Service Officers' Association went on a strike on Thursday (31) against the decision taken to suspend the post of Special Grade Family Health Service Officer.
Chairperson of the Family Health Service Officers' Association Devika Kodituwakku noted that a silent protest will be held opposite the Ministry of Health at the same time.
Meanwhile, the Government Radiological Technologists Association launched a strike at the Colombo National Hospital and the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital, as well.
