Basil meets Indian Foreign Secretary

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Finance, Basil Rajapaksa who is on an official visit to India, on the invitation of the Indian Government has met with India's Foreign Secretary, Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, in New Delhi.

Finance Secretary S.R. Attygalle, Sri Lanka's High Commitioner to India Milinda Moragoda, and India's High Commitioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Baglay also accompanied the Finance Minister at the meeting.

During the visit, Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa is also scheduled to meet with India's Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar and Deputy National Security Advisor of India Shri Vikram Misri among others for high-level talks.
