Long queues at filling station since Friday (18) morning

COLOMBO (News 1st); Long queues were seen at filling stations in many parts of the island on Friday (18) as well.

The Ceypecto Filling Station in Baddegama started pumping fuel for vehicles at 8 am on Friday (18), and even before it opened, there was a long queue.

In the meantime, there was NO fuel at the Filling Station at the entrance to the expressway in the Devata area in Galle since Thursday (17) afternoon.

Many filling Stations in the Galle area had received Fuel on Friday (18) morning.

At the Gonapinuwala Filling Station Kerosene was only issued for Rs. 500/- per person.

At the same time, there was NO Auto Diesel from Ceypecto Filling Stations in Minneriya for two days.

Meanwhile, long queues were observed at the Hingurakgoda Co-operative Fuel Station and Ceypecto Fuel Station since Friday (18) morning.
