Risk of Dengue spread in the country : PHI

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Public Health Inspectors (PHI) stated that the unidentified flu is spreading in the country at present, in addition to the COVID-19 virus and the Dengue fever.

President of the PHI Union, Upul Rohana urged the general public to seek immediate medical advice if any symptoms such as fever, cough are reported.

Furthermore, he stated that Dengue Fever is also showing a rise in the country with a large number of cases reported in several areas including the Western Province.

Moreover, Dengue cases are being detected at construction sites, Government institutions, and private institutions, in addition, said the PHI Union.
