COLOMBO (News 1st); Revising the Ministries and their tasks is not going to change anything or solve the country's issues, says former Minister P. Harrison.

Speaking in Anuradhapura recently, the former Minister stated that the Agriculture industry has collapsed, along with the economy, and people's needs have been neglected by the Government.

The Government recently issued an extraordinary gazette revising a number of Ministries and their activities, and also took steps to increase the tenure of Provincial Councils by a period of one year.

Speaking further, the former Minister stated that there is no point revising the Ministries and the right thing to do is for the President to dissolve the Parliament and let someone with the capacity to bring this country out of the current chaos.

They must face an election and allow the public to once again, elect their leaders, he stated.
