Four arrested with drugs worth Rs. 10Mn

COLOMBO (News 1st); Four suspects, including a Ports employee have been arrested in Angulana with a stock of ice drugs worth over Rs. 10 million.

Police said that 780 grams of ice was found in the possession of one suspect and 100 grams in the possession of another.

The other two suspects were in possession of 80 and 40 grams of ice each.

One of the three suspects, a resident of Trincomalee has been identified as an employee at the Trincomalee Port while the other suspect has been identified as a resident of Panadura.

The suspects will be produced before the Moratuwa Magistrate and detention orders will be obtained, Police said.
