New Year is a blessing to the society: Sajith Premadasa

COLOMBO (News1st): Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has said that cultural festivals such as the Sinhala Hindu New Year, which highlight the value of life with nature, are essentially a blessing to society and the world. In his message, the Opposition Leader stated that the New Year, which teaches the lesson of prosperity, has dawned this year, while citizens are entangled in a dilemma of how to prepare a clean meal. He added that at a time of misfortune, nature has quietly taught all the people how to think anew.
