Renovation of the Jana Uruma Buddhist Centre

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Gammadda initiative that served the people of this nation for the past 2 years are continuing their efforts to solve the problems of rural Sri Lanka under the new normal conditions.

The renovation of the Jana Uruma Buddhist Centre of the indigenous community in Dambana began today under the Gammadda initiative.

The Jana Uruma Buddhist Centre of the indigenous community is important historically as it is the first significant site established by the indigenous community in Sri Lanka.

The event was conducted while strictly adhering to COVID-19 health regulations.
