Lakshman Kiriella in a heated argument in Parliament

Colombo (News 1st): Chief Opposition Whip of Parliament - Lakshman Kiriella was involved in yet another debate in Parliament today. SLPP MP - Milan Jayathilake alleging MP Kiriella said that the contract of the Highway Project was given to the controversial Taisen Company and that all projects of the Road Development Ministry were undertaken by a company named Kandy Construction. He said such disastrous acts were done during the previous regime. MP said the company called Kandy Construction is very heavily associated with Kiriella's family. -- Chief Opposition Whip of Parliament - Lakshman Kiriella refuted the claims made by the ruling party MP saying that he does not know of such a company. In return, he asked the MP to table the names of the Board of Directors of that company in Parliament.
