Income from exportation of agricultural produce increase: Dept. of Export Agriculture

COLOMBO (News 1st): The income from the exportation of agricultural produce in the 1st half of 2020 has risen, the Department of Export Agriculture said. "A total of 23,264 metric tonnes of agricultural crops were exported in the 1st six months of this year and the total income from the exportation is Rs. 27,977 million," Dr. A.P. Heenkenda, the Director-General at the Department of Export Agriculture said on Thursday (Aug 20). According to Dr. Heenkenda, there is an increase of Rs. 40 million compared to that of last year's 1st six months.
